Horte Couture is a landscape design studio based on the Sunshine Coast. We work on private residential projects throughout Brisbane, the Moreton Bay region and the Sunshine Coast.
We welcome projects ranging from intimate courtyards to large acreage properties.
We combine professional design, horticultural expertise and practical project management skills to create outdoor spaces with timeless appeal. We design with the local environment and climate in mind and work with the existing natural landscape wherever possible.
OUR APPROACH
Let’s talk about how we can bring your garden project to life.
We take the time to get to know you and what you would like to achieve. It covers functionality, aesthetics and other practical concerns such as the level of maintenance you’re prepared to take on as well as your budget.
The concept plan sets out the layout, function and attributes for the project. It sets the vision and conveys the design intent and how it will look and feel and is unique to you and your site.
Once the concept design is agreed, we prepare further detailed plans, as required. Structural elements are shown with dimensions and measurements. Detailed planting plans are prepared. Other plans such as lighting and irrigation layouts are also available.
The final landscape plan is a comprehensive guide to your landscape design which is then ready to install. We will recommend a landscaping company from our list of trusted partners and can help source items such as materials, plants and other landscaping details such as pool companies, outdoor furniture, lighting, pots and planters and ongoing garden maintenance companies once your garden has been installed.
To make the most of your garden, we also recommend our plant set-out service, to ensure the design intent is fulfilled, and our plant maintenance notes for the ongoing care and management of your new garden.
